This website
This notice covers conkerburydetectives.co.uk, the website for the Conkerbury Detectives puzzle books by Inspector Cuthbert Conkerworth.
What we collect
Nothing. There are no accounts, forms that send data, cookies, analytics, adverts, tracking pixels or embedded social media. Answer codes and certificate names are handled entirely inside the browser and are never sent or stored.
Children
The site is designed with the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (the “Children's Code”) in mind: high privacy by default, no profiling, no nudges to share information and no data collected from children.
Hosting
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). Like every website host, GitHub may keep short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the service secure. We don't use these to identify anyone.
Images, fonts and links
All images, fonts and scripts are hosted on this site, so no third party sees your visit. When the book is on sale, “Get the book” buttons will link to Amazon. If you follow one, you leave this site and Amazon's own privacy notice applies.
Newsletter (not yet active)
A newsletter for adults may be added later. If it is, this notice will be updated first to explain what's collected, why, the email service used, and how to unsubscribe.
